Begin Your Journey
The Revolutionary Approach to Energy Healing
Beyond Traditional Methods
While Reiki and other modalities focus on channeling energy to clients, our approach recognizes a profound truth: your clients already possess everything they need for healing. Rather than fixing someone with your energy, you become a guide helping them unlock their own perfect wholeness.
This isn't about adding something missing—it's about removing the mental blockages that obscure their natural state of completeness. Every person sitting before you is already perfect as they are. The blockages are simply creations of the mind, doors they've closed that they can reopen.
Visualize two twin flames, each with their own column of light—you're not channeling energy to them, but helping them access their own unlimited source.
The Four-Phase Healing Cycle
Identify the Blockage
Guide your client to recognize where and why they're blocking their natural energy flow. This isn't about diagnosis—it's about conscious awareness of their own patterns and restrictions.
Express Through Breath
Use the out-breath as a powerful tool for release. The exhale becomes a pathway for letting go of stored emotions, trauma, and energetic blockages held in the body.
Enter Forgiveness
After release comes forgiveness—a state that naturally produces endorphins and activates the spiritual body. This isn't forced, but a natural emergence after authentic expression.
Cultivate Gratitude
The final phase brings deep appreciation, flooding the body with healing endorphins. Gratitude for the earth, for existence, for the opportunity to heal and grow.
Each phase naturally flows into the next, creating a complete cycle of transformation that honors the client's innate healing wisdom.
Accessing Deep Emotions: The Art of Finding the Hook
Beyond "Love and Light" Spiritual Bypassing
Many spiritual practitioners have learned to avoid feeling difficult emotions, claiming they "don't get angry" or "only experience love." This spiritual bypassing prevents genuine healing and growth. To facilitate real transformation, you must help clients access their authentic feelings.
The key is discovering what they love most—this becomes your "hook" to genuine emotion. Once you know who or what matters most to them, you can gently guide them into scenarios that activate real feeling. A person who claims they never feel fear will immediately access terror when imagining their beloved child in danger.
"Find what they love most beside themselves—this bypasses spiritual pretense and reaches authentic emotion. The goal isn't to cause suffering, but to help them feel what's already there, waiting to be expressed and healed."
Some clients live in the past, others project into the future. Emotional people tend toward the past, mental people toward the future. Adjust your approach accordingly—guide them to the timeframe where their authentic feelings live.
The All-Love Mantra: Universal Heart Connection
Why "All-Love" Works Universally
The word "love" transcends cultural and language barriers—you can say "I love you" anywhere in the world and be understood. When we speak the word love, it naturally releases oxytocin and endorphins, creating an immediate physiological response.
Combine this mantra with the infinity symbol visualization, drawing the figure-eight pattern in front of your client's heart. This infinity represents the toric field of their light body—their natural energetic structure that can expand from a small loop to magnificent wings.
Synchronize the mantra with breathing: "All... Love" can flow with either inhale-exhale or exhale-inhale, whatever feels natural. The combination of word, breath, visualization, and feeling creates multiple focal points that prevent mental wandering.
The Shenu Meditation: Connecting Heaven and Earth
Connect to the Central Sun
Guide your client's awareness above the crown to a beautiful, radiant sun—this is the "great shining light" that the Reiki master symbol represents. You don't need Japanese characters when you can visualize the actual sun.
Reach the Sun Behind the Sun
Move beyond form into the formless space—the Sekem, the source behind all manifestation. This is where non-dual awareness begins, in the space of formless peace and love.
Descend the Column of Light
Bring this source energy down through the crown, through the heart, belly, base, legs, connecting deeply with the earth's heart and rhythm. Feel Mother Earth receiving you and your light.
Receive Earth's Gifts
Breathe up earth energy with profound gratitude for air, water, food—all that sustains life. This appreciation connects us to the miracle of existence that we often take for granted.
Heart Explosion
As heaven and earth meet in the heart, experience an explosion of love expanding infinitely. This is the soul coming home, the remembrance of our true nature.
Reading the Body: Signs of Activation and Opening
Physical Indicators of Energetic Shifts
As your client moves into deeper states, their body will show clear signs of activation. Learn to read these signals and respond appropriately to support their process safely and effectively.
Early signs include: Slight trembling around the eyes (butterfly eyes), subtle smiling, tears behind the eyes that aren't necessarily sadness—often joy or gratitude. The breathing naturally becomes deeper and more alkaline.
Progressive activation: The eyes begin to flutter more intensely, the body may start to sway or move involuntarily, and a wave-like vibration becomes visible. This is when you know they're ready to stand up for deeper work.
Full activation: The entire body becomes a wave of energy, legs may become unsteady, and profound emotional releases begin. This is when you ensure they're safe and supported, ready to lie down if needed.

Safety First
Always prioritize client safety. When you see wobbliness or instability, have them lie down immediately. Create safe spaces and be prepared to catch them if necessary.
Advanced Pelvic Release Technique
Accessing Deep-Held Trauma Through Body Positioning
This powerful technique should only be used by experienced facilitators, preferably with same-gender practitioners and clients. It activates areas where deep trauma, especially abuse-related memories, are often stored in the body.
Have your client lie down and bring their knees toward their chest. Guide them to hold this position themselves—never support them. This creates a natural stress vibration in the pelvis that can unlock stored emotions and memories.
As they hold this position, encourage them to breathe into the pelvis and gradually spread their legs to the point where holding becomes challenging. The resulting vibration often brings up memories, emotions, and energy that has been held for years or decades.
"Many memories and issues held in the pelvis will start coming up. Let them breathe into it, give it sound, and imagine the pelvis opening up. This is where profound healing can occur."
Support them through whatever arises—anger, fear, sadness, or even joy. The body knows exactly what it needs to release and how to move through the process naturally.
Facilitating Emotional Expression and Release
Give Permission to Feel
Many people have learned to suppress natural emotional responses. Your role is to create safety for authentic expression. "Any emotion that's coming, just let yourself breathe into it and feel it."
Encourage Sound and Movement
The body wants to move and vocalize during release. Guide them to listen to their body's wisdom—"Give it a voice, give it a sound." This returns power and agency to their system.
Follow the Body's Lead
Trust the innate intelligence of their system. "Listen to your body. Your body knows just what to do. That's how yoga was originally developed—by following the body's natural movements."
When working with trauma responses, remember that the client may have held their breath during the original experience. If they say "I keep wanting to hold my breath," guide them back to that time: "Go to the time when you couldn't breathe." Help them understand the survival mechanisms their body created.
Often, powerful words need to be spoken that were never said during the original trauma. Encourage them: "What words do you need to say for this energy to leave you alone?" Give them permission to speak their truth, even if it comes out as sound rather than words.
The Paradox of Spiritual Seeking
You Already Have Everything You Need
Here's the beautiful paradox at the heart of all spiritual work: you're searching for something you already possess. You already are pure love, but you're seeking love outside yourself. You already are whole, but you're looking for completion elsewhere.
In this very moment, sitting wherever you are, you have 100% of everything you need. You don't need to eat right now, you don't need to drink, you don't need a partner to feel good. You have complete sufficiency in this present moment.
It's only when you start thinking about what you're missing that unhappiness begins. "Oh, I need that." But right here, right now, you're quite content. This is always available—the recognition that in the present moment, you lack nothing.
"Through this process, you can start to experience the deepest love imaginable, or experience God—because God is this love that permeates the universe, the peace of the universe, and we have the capability to tap into that."
Creating Sacred Space: Music, Movement, and Atmosphere
Environmental Elements
Music plays a vital role in facilitation work. You can learn to create your own healing soundscapes or use existing compositions designed for energy work. The right music helps maintain focus and supports emotional flow.
Dimmed lighting helps clients go deeper into internal awareness, while comfortable positioning ensures they can relax fully into the process. Have mats, cushions, and props available to support different body positions.
Movement as Medicine
Encourage natural movement and what I call the "infinity dance"—flowing figure-eight motions that mirror the energy patterns you're working with. This isn't choreographed dance, but organic movement that emerges from the body's wisdom.
Dancing while facilitating may seem like you're "doing something," but remember—you don't actually need to do anything. The movement is for your own grounding and comfort, helping you stay present and embodied during the session.
Original Sekem teachings incorporated natural movement and dance with symbols and visualizations. This embodied approach helps both practitioner and client stay connected to the energy rather than getting lost in mental concepts.
Integration: Becoming a Heart-Centered Facilitator
Your Journey as a Facilitator
This work isn't about perfecting techniques or memorizing protocols. It's about developing your capacity to hold space for another person's healing journey while recognizing that they already contain everything they need for wholeness.
Trust the Process
Your clients' bodies and souls know exactly how to heal. Your job is to create safety, provide gentle guidance, and trust the wisdom that emerges through breath, movement, and authentic expression.
Follow the Energy
Each session will be unique. Stay present and responsive to what's happening in the moment rather than following rigid scripts. The energy will show you where to go next.
Embody Compassion
Your own healing journey directly impacts your capacity to facilitate others. Continue your personal work, maintain your connection to source, and approach each client with genuine love and respect.
Remember that in this present moment, you already have everything you need to serve others in their healing. The techniques are tools, but your authentic presence and heart-centered intention are what create transformation. Trust yourself, trust the process, and trust the perfect wholeness that exists within every person you serve.
